Sprigvale
Grow a cozy farm and make friends next door.
A little farmhouse, a silo, a barn and a few empty plots in the grass. Sprigvale is a free farm game that runs in your browser, on a computer or a phone, with no download and no sign-up. You plant crops, raise chickens, cows and sheep, turn the harvest into bread, cheese and scarves, and trade with the neighbours in the village. The farm grows in real time, nothing ever wilts, and there is no way to lose.
How to play
- Press Play. Three short tips show you how to plant, harvest and store your first wheat.
- Tap an empty plot and choose a seed. Wheat is ready in 30 seconds, while slower crops such as sunflower, cotton and lavender take hours.
- When a crop is ripe, drag across the plots to harvest them all in one go. The harvest goes to the silo, and the goods you make go to the barn.
- Buy animals in the Shop and feed them with feed from the mill. A hungry animal simply waits, and it starts producing again as soon as you feed it.
- Use the mill, the bakery, the dairy and the loom to turn crops, eggs, milk and wool into goods. Each machine works through a queue, and you can buy more slots.
- Deliver the notes on the order board for coins, XP and friendship. From level 5, the market cart visits every 6 hours with three crates to fill.
- Level up to unlock new crops, animals, machines, decorations and more plots, all the way to level 15.

Tips
- Plant quick wheat while you learn, and start a slow crop before you close the game. Your farm keeps growing while you are away, for up to 24 hours.
- Keep the mill making feed. Animals only produce when they have eaten.
- Selling from the silo pays half of what an order would. When the silo or the barn is full, sell only the surplus, or expand them.
- Do not like a note on the board? Tap the bin twice to tear it up for free. A new note shows up a few minutes later.
- Visit your neighbours every day. You can lend a hand up to five times each (water, weed or shoo a bird) and send one gift, and your friendship grows.
- Fill all three crates of the market cart before it leaves to earn a bonus of coins and a surprise.
- Check the mailbox and the notebook when you come back. Neighbours water your plants, write letters and sometimes pick a little of your crop, always leaving something in return.
- Videos are always optional. A long timer can be finished with a short video, and "No, thanks" keeps you playing.
About Sprigvale
Sprigvale is a calm farm game in the spirit of the social farms people used to play with friends, except that your neighbours live inside the game. You start with a few plots and a handful of coins, and little by little you build a busy farm with fields, animal pens, workshops and decorations such as a well, a swing or a fountain. Everything happens in real time and nothing ever wilts, so you can play in short visits through the day.
There are eight crops, from wheat that is ready in 30 seconds to lavender that takes eight hours, three animals, four machines with fourteen recipes and twelve decorations. Five neighbours live in the village: Cotinha, Tonico, Nina, Bento and Lia. They move in as you level up, post orders on the board, stop by your farm, water your plants and write you letters. Visit them back to help out, send gifts and become best friends. Now and then a neighbour plays a little prank and picks one of your ripe crops, but always leaves something in return.
Your farm is saved in your browser on this device. Watching a video is never needed: a short video can finish a long timer right away, and a short ad may appear after you level up. The game is gentle and colorful, and it is made for players of all ages.
Frequently asked questions
Is Sprigvale free?
Yes. It is free to play, with nothing to download and no account to create.
Can my crops wilt, or can I lose?
No. Ripe crops wait for you as long as it takes, a hungry animal just waits to be fed, and there is no game over.
Are the neighbours real players?
No. Cotinha, Tonico, Nina, Bento and Lia are characters in the game. Everything happens on your device, with no account, chat or online play.
Does the farm grow while I am away?
Yes, for up to 24 hours. When you come back, a summary shows what is ready, and the notebook tells you what the neighbours did meanwhile.
Do I have to watch videos?
No. A video only appears as an optional way to finish a long timer right away, and you can say no thanks every time. A short ad may also appear after you level up.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Tap to plant, drag to harvest and pinch to zoom. The farm is made for landscape mode, so on a phone held upright the game asks you to turn it.
